Circular building awards

The materials of today are our resources of tomorrow

Challenger – This is one of the keys to success for drawing attention to the projects and committed stakeholders. 
The Circular Buildings Awards, the first competition for constructions made of re-used materials, organised in collaboration with the social media platform Construction21, reward construction or renovation projects that have implemented re-use and eco-design practices. 
The first competition was launched in March 2021.

Conditions for participating in the Circular Buildings Awards of 2021:

The project leaders have the consent of the Contracting Authority;

The project must be delivered in its entirety by 30 June 2021 or have at least delivered one phase for neighbourhoods;

The project is located in France (mainland or overseas).

The competition is open to every type of building (public or private, residential, tertiary, commercial, industrial, cultural, health, etc.), neighbourhoods, urban areas, urban islands, joint development zones (“ZACs”), etc.
In order to participate, candidates complete detailed case studies on the Construction21 website.

This first event gave rise to 22 exemplary operations that implemented the re-use of materials. 
The announcement of the winners of this first event will be held on 21 October 2021 at the Prize-Giving ceremony.
